Do you really want to be slaving away for hours, fiddling around with wires and screws, just waiting for something to go wrong?
One stray screw, one slip of a finger and your super high end hardware will be scrap.
Why take the risk of Building it yourself? Potentially frying your new PC before its even started when you can buy a ready built, new PC for the same sort of money.
Take the hassle and the worry out of Buying a PC.
A company like Computer Upgrade King can buy components in bulk to keep the prices low.
And their trained technicians have all the right tools, the right experience to do the job right.
And CUK are only one of many companies. There are many more established builders out there that can take all the pain out of buying a new Gaming Rig.

What I Think
Looks
I have to say, in the looks department, the SkyTech has it nailed. I have never seen a computer that looks this good before. Sporting a, as clear as glass, transparent custom made case, the SkyTech will snatch the attention of all that look upon it. Your friends peer in envy at the crystal plastic that houses the most powerful components money can buy.
They are going to be jealous. And you are going to love it. A big smirk across your face.
The SkyTech’s invisible chassis is so impressive, even the computer illiterate will look on in amazement. Electronics suspended as gravity has been beaten back supreme engineering.
If you must buy a a PC for looks, but you want top components to, then the SkyTech is the PC for you. Hands Down.
I mean, come on, look at the picture, Its chassis is see through.
Additionally to its invisible complexion, the SkyTech comes with a full RGB LED light system built in. You can set the lighting to nearly any color in the spectrum and then have it dance in a pulsing rhythmic vibration. It’s hypnotic. So you can sleep at ease knowing that if the see through goodness doesn’t get your friends attention, the disco lights will.
With only a little bit of white on the right hand side housing the less spectacular looking components, I’m looking at you wires and hard drives, you will get just as much pleasure from looking at this as from playing it.
Usability
The SkyTech’s usability will make it a pleasure for you to use by offering up a fist full of connectivity.
On the front of the machine we have a typical set up of 4 USB sockets with 2 USB 3.0 and 2 Usb 2.0. In addition, you have a microphone and headphone Aux jack.
One addition that I think is sad to see missing is the addition of a front facing HDMI pass through. Having this would make it easier for VR enthusiasts to use the machine. But this can easily be remedied by using an extension on one of the 3 display pots that are available on the back.
Additionally, the motherboard comes with wi-fi built in. On first setting up the machine, you will have a Wi-Fi right from the get-go.
Overall, the SkyTech offers a neat little package for connectivity lovers.
Performance
GPU
Sporting one of the best GPUs on the market in the Nvidia GTX 1080, The SkyTech Supremacy is not going to get court short any time soon with any game you play. This GPU is a monster pixel pusher and you can be assured that, at 1080p resolution, any game for the next 2 years is going to run well over 60fps.
However, if you are 4k gamer, you may have to settle for 30fps with newer games. But drop some of the setting from very high to high and 60 FPS at 4k can be achieved.
CPU
Coupled with the awesome power of the GTX 1080, we have an Intel, 6th generation, Core i7 6700k. This, like the previous generations, comes with 4 cores and 8 threads, or logical cores. It’s all very impress stuff and will smash through the chores you set for it. But modern games do not really take advantage of modern CPUs like they do their GPU counter parts.
So, however impressive a CPU may look on paper, your games are only going to take advantage of small proportion of its potential. Knowing this, Intel’s i7 CPU will be more than enough for any game that is going to be released for the next 3 years. I kid you not. So no worries here.
Ram
The supremacy comes stuffed with 32GB of some of the fastest DDR4 ram on the market. A huge amount of mem’ by anyones standards. But what does all this silicon goodness do for you?
Well, it means that you could, if you wanted to, run multiple games, never mind programs, at the same time. How do you feel about hot swapping between a game of Battlefield One and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare? That would be cool, right? It’s all possible and more with this amount of memory on tap. All very impressive stuff. Especially if you have a few friends looking over your shoulder. slaughter on 2 fronts, quite literally simultaneously.
Hard Drive
The computer comes with ample and fast amounts of storage for your gaming pleasure. With a 480 GB SSD hard drive levels will finish loading before you can spit out the words, ‘that was quick’. Your games will be ready in an instant. So while your friends are there making a cup of tea, your melting faces off with plasma rifles.
And if that amount of storage isn’t enough, there is mechanical drive that will house 2TB waiting to back you up.
Overall Performance
All the components that make up the Supremacy come together to create a performance superstar. No game will defeat the innards of this beauty. You are assured of gaming pleasure.
Upgradability
GPU
Sporting Nivida’s demi god of a GPU, the GTX 1080, the Supremacy is not going to need an upgrade anytime soon. But, like every PC eventually you will have to. So what options would be open to you?
The GPU could, as with any rig be lifted right out and replaced with a more powerful GPU in the coming years. All nice and easy.
If you were looking to go SLI, there would be a number of hurdles in your way. For starters the Chassis is a custom build, and the only way you are going to fit a new GPU in there is to, well, take all the components out and place them in a new chassis. Not exactly an ideal situation.
And this isn’t the only barrier standing in the way of your SLI quest. The PSU, at 700 watts, simply is not powerful enough to accommodate anther GPU. So unless you like to see smoke pouring out the back of your PC, or like to dissect plastic, a strait up GPU swap would be your only Option.
CPU
Packed with a K series core i7 6700, you know immediately that this CPU is going to have a huge amount of overclocking headroom. Fortunately, SkyTech saw it fit to include an incredibly good Thermaltake Water cooling CPU cooling solution. With this attached, and with the right voltage, you could easily be overclocking the CPU to near enough 5ghz!
Ram
The machine comes with a massive, future proof 32GB of ram. So, you won’t be upgrading this area for a while. But, if for some reason you thought 32gb wasn’t enough. You need more Ram! And who doesn’t? What could you do? Well unfortunately, all 4 ram slots are already taken up with an 8GB module currently housed in each one. So to upgrade, you would have to sell the old ram and replace it.
But seriously, you do not need more RAM, 32GB is ample.
HDD
Sporting a 480GB SSD coupled with a slower but fairly large 2TB HDD, the Supremacy isn’t really going to need any upgrading anytime soon. However, if you did want to upgrade, you may run into a wall. Because of that custom chassis again, there is only room for the 2 hard drives already included. You would have to do a strait swap. So no extra drives. Or maybe Not…
You could add an additional NVMe hard drive to the motherboard for even more space and for extreme performance.
Conclusion
A gaming PC that is going to change the way you think about how a rig should look. SkyTech have essentially taken something that we usually hide away under a desk and turned it into something that you will want to give center stage to. It full of glamour and it’s trendy looking. And it just so happens to have class leading components on show inside its air like body.
SO, if you want power, and you want the looks, the Supremacy is going to be the PC for you. So check it out now. Because, the way these Babies look, they are going to sell out fast.

What I Think
Looks
If you want a PC that is actually capable of intimidating adversaries looks alone, then the HP Omen is the PC for you.
A stunningly designed fire breathing steel custom chassis, the Omen would make any would be enemy shudder on first site of this raging red machine.
clad in all black painted metal, the Omen is an intimidating, stylish example of how the old beige box can be transformed. This is the super model, the Mr Universe of the PC world and it shows in all its design.
The picture of he Omen speaks for itself. On the front running from top to bottom, the case oozes rainbow light out onto the desk. Set to the default deep red, the machine look like it’s more likely to transform into a Cylon from Battlestar than play games on Steam.
This is a PC that would look just as at home in an art gallery as it would at home next to your TV. So if it’s looks you are after, the omen is definitely one to consider.
Usability
On first seeing the Omen I thought that it’s looks had definitely been given priority by the designers. Not just because it looks like a transformers head, but because the apparent lack of any connectivity.
But you would be wrong. Just as I was when I first looked at the machine.
For starters, the designers seem to have been able to squeeze in a slim line DVD drive behind the the front. They did a good job of this as there is very little evidence on close scrutiny to indicate there is any optical drive included at all. Real life cloaking tech in action!
Additionally, on top of the machine, there is a collection of USB slots. Your typical 2 x 2 usb 3 and usb 2 setup.
Finally, for your ease of use, the Omen comes with built in Wi-Fi and bluetooth. Both of which I found to work well on my test run of the machine.
Performance
GPU
The GPU inside the Omen, like others on this list, is the fantastic GTX 1080. You may at this point be wondering, why are there no AMD graphics cards on this list. Well, simply, they are not upto the Nvidia standard at the moment. And in this case the GTX 1080 once again proves why it is king of GPUs’. Yes, CPU and a lot of ram help, but it’s the graphics card that matters the most and with Nvidia’s effort, you know you are getting the best.
CPU
The Intel 6700k is a quad core 8 thread CPU that impresses with its speed at carrying out tasks. Multi tasking and games are made short work of by the Core i7. On top of this, no game really takes advantage of faster CPUs at the moment, so anything faster, unless you do creative work on your PC, is just going to be over kill.
You can rest assured that you will be getting a CPU that is up to any task you throw at it.
RAM
The Omen, comes packing a massive, overkill, God would be proud, 64 GBs of DDR 2400 RAM. A huge amount of memory that you will never fill. Seriously, buy the PC and try to fill it. Because of Windows 10’s new RAM management system you simply can’t. Not yet anyway.
Hard Drive
The omen comes packing a high end 512GB SSD hard drives that offers speeds that easily exceed 10 times what a typical magnetic drive can serve up. On booting the Omen for the first time. Windows was ready to rock and roll in just over 10 seconds. This hard drive is like an F1 car bolting down tarmac.
On top of the blistering pace of the SSD, you get a traditional 7200rpm 3TB magnetic drive for storage and back up purposes.
So with the HP Omen you get the best of both worlds.
Overall Performance
Marrying a GTX 1080 with a Core i7 is always going to create amazing results. And the Omen is no different. I played a few games on the Omen, including Battlefield One and Asseto Corsa to really give it a stringent test. And just like with every other 1080 GPU toting PC, it rips through every game as if it were made 5 years ago. Each playing out at over 100fps in 1080p. Change upto 4K and some can be played at 60 fps, but most new ones need to have a few setting lowered. But 4k at 60 FPS… WOW!
Kudos to Nvidia they have created an amazing card. And this PC has amazing performance to match.
Upgradability
GPU
The Omen being, a custom Chassis, can’t really be upgraded easily. There is no extra room for an extra GPU and the PSU would not have a enough power to support one anyway, given that it only churns out a measly 500 watts of power. Just enough juice to power torch then…
This watch battery like power output might limit you in the future if upgrading to a new graphics card. The 500 watts is the bare minimum for 1080 to work. If a new GPU used more power than whats on offer, you would just end up melting the insides of your PC.
CPU
As with all K series Intel CPUs, the 6700k can be overclocked to be well over 5ghz when coupled with a water cooled cooling solution. Fortunately, HP included their own proprietary take on a water cooler. You can overclock the CPU like a champ with this setup. Unfortunately though, are overclocking is cut short as we run into another problem connected to the PSU. With limited power, increasing voltage for the power hungry CPU could result in the PSU burning out or the system failing to power on. Soft overclocking will be your only option.
Ram
You have a titanic 64GB of silicon jammed inside the PC. Do you really need any more? The answer you are looking for is, no.
Hard Drive
With games taking up ever more space on are platters, we are always in need of more hard disk space. Fortunately, the HP can be pried open and new and improved hard drives can be added.
But why would you.
It all ready comes with some of the best and biggest hard drives money can buy.
Fortunately, there is space on the motherboard for an upgrade to a NVMe SSD. This drive, plugged strait into the PCIe port, will deliver speeds upto 3 times faster than a conventional SSD. This makes it an ideal upgrade that will increase performance across the board.
Conclusion
Completely custom made for the gaming market, the omen looks like something the devil himself would play on. With strikingly hard edged good looks and hardware that would make many other PCs look tame, the Omen is a HP tour-de-force that any gamer would be proud to own.
If you want one of the best gaming rigs money can buy, you have found one. So click on the picture and check it out now. You wont be disappointed.

What I Think
Looks
The Trion, out of all the PCs featured on this list, is the most traditional looking of the lot. For starters, it uses an off the shelf, Corsair mid tower. You would think, considering the money you would be paying, that CUK may have invested in a custom chassis. Don’t get me wrong the white and blue do look lovely together. But, one might have expected more.
But there is method to their madness.
You see, after contacting CUK’s very friendly staff, they politely went about explaining their philosophy to me. The idea is that the ability to bulk buy off the shelf parts means that they can save money and thus, either save you money or, put even more expensive parts inside for the same amount.
So yes, you may not get the anti gravity looks of the SkyTech or the dragon red of the Omen. But what you do get is extreme performance that easily surpasses them both.
Usability
Being an off the shelf case, the Trion offers a large amount of connectivity that the other machines here do not offer. You get your usual USB ports on the front that are joined by, aux in and out for a microphone and headset.
But then it differs a little bit. For you see, the Trion offers a single, but very useful, Display Port on the front of the machine. With an an adapter, this port is compatible with any HDMI type, any screen technology you wish to mention. You can even get a Display Port to VGA adapter. How cool is that!
And of course, being super high end, Wi-Wi, and Bluetooth comes as standard for ease of use.
Performance
GPU
Packing 2 GTX 1080s in SLI, the Trion offers up twice the power of the other computers on this list. We are talking here about phenomenal performance that will out perform any, single graphics card solution for years to come. With the power of these cards combined you could rule the universe!!
Well, maybe not. But the performance does comes close to super computer levels. I kid you not.
We are talking about breezing through any game at 4k with full fat 60 fps. And as for VR gaming Nvidea is developing software to let each GPU render an eye independently. Stunning future proofed performance.
CPU
The CPU in the Trion is a step up from the standard i7 6700s you see in the Omen and the SkyTech. Being a Intel Core i7 7700k it comes with improved core clock frequencies and can be overclocked even higher than your standard 6700k.
Yet it still only comes with 4 cores but when a CPU is this fast, you don’t need more cores. A rocket of a CPU.
RAM
You have 32GB of RAM at your disposal. Yes it’s not as much as the Omen, which comes with 64GB. But do you really need that much yet?
Of course you don’t!
No game currently uses more than 16 GB of ram on PC and until the next consoles come out with more memory 64GB is simply wasting money.
Hard Drive
The Trion also comes with what I would consider to be the best hard drive setup on any of the computer on this list. With a 512GB NVMe SSD coming standard you are guaranteed read speeds that can be over 30 times faster than a standard hard drive. On my play with the computer Windows 10 loaded in 5 seconds. From cold boot!
We are talking about a game loading time being reduced from say 1 minute to to under 10 seconds. No other HD will beat kind of speed.
In addition to the NVMe you get a 4TB standard 7200rpm hard drive for data and backup purposes. A cavernous hard drive that will store more data than you will ever need.
Over All
Over all this is easily the fasted PC that I have ever used. I’m going to keep this simple.
Do you want 4k 60fps gameplay?
Yes?
Then this is the PC to buy.
Upgradability
GPU
Ok, this section is going to be short and sweet.
You get 2 Nvidia GTX 1080s in SLI with the Trion. That’s twice the performance of a standard GTX 1080 setup. You wont need to upgrade for a long, looonnng time. So no need to even talk about it here.
CPU
The 7700k is a step up from the 6700 found in most rigs. You can overclock it and the PSU does supply enough electron goodness to really to it justice. Plus, with a Corsair supplied water cooling solution you can easily push the CPU way past 5ghz.
RAM
32GB of DDR4 RAM is currently more than enough, but due to the Trion using 2 16GB modules instead of 4 8GB modules you could in theory just drop in 2 more 16GB modules to give you 64GB in total. A good option to have but totally unnecessary in the short and medium term.
Hard Drive
The Hard Drives in the Trion are currently the best you can get for reasonable money. If you wanted a bigger NVMe SSD, you would be looking at shelling out $2000 for it. They are that expensive. So again, the current setup is great for the short and medium term.
Conclusion
The biggest beefiest PC I have seen, the Computer Upgrade King’s Trion SLI dreadnought is the last word in PC gaming. Nothing currently comes close to what this supercomputer can output. It annihilates 4k spitting out 8 million pixels at 100fps with ease.
If you want the best, you have found it. So click on to get a taste of the best that PC gaming has to offer.
